Foster, Winslet, Waltz and Reilly take Yasmina Reza to the screen. Like Art- her other work I love, this shows us ourselves in our fragile relationships and how the mundane can become the ridiculous as what we hide from day to day is revealed in crisis.
Carnage (2011). I'd watch Jodie Foster do anything and feel the same about Kate Winslet, so when I saw a film with both of them listed, I was intrigued. This is an adaptation from a play and has that very tight feel of an ensemble cast and one set.....it's all dialog. I really enjoyed and Christoph Waltz, who I loved in Inglorious Basterds was so fun to watch. Not for everyone, but if you want a short, thoughtful film, that is a bit of a dark comedy, here it is.
