Literally minutes of silence that are spellbinding watching him adapt to his new environment. I'd watch Tom Hanks make toast and feel the pain of the bread and laugh uncontrollably as he dances with it before eating it.
The Blue Lagoon (1980): When this movie came out, I wasn't old enough to see it. I've only since seen the edited pan-and-scan version on television, and I was awed by the film's absolute aesthetic appeal. I bet it's even more beautiful on the big screen. Maybe one day I'll be able to see it! ~M
