Cell phones in the classroom: I took an inexpensive over-the-door shoe holder and created a "Cell Phone Parking Lot" for my classroom. I added vinyl numbers created with my Cricut machine. I plan to hang this near my desk. Numbers will be assigned based on the same number iPad that students will be assigned.

I had to find a way that WORKED where students would keep their cell phones during class, but was accessible as I let them use their phones in class for certain lessons. I don't like collecting phones for liability reasons. And I wanted something that wouldn't take up room on their desk. This works perfect. I also will put supplies in this pouch that they need for the day's lesson. I love how it's clear so I can see who put their cell phone away!
