Cheap battle rope. Go to your local fire station and see if they have a piece or two of 1-1/2" or 1-3/4" x 50' hose that has some holes in it. Cut the fittings off, wrap the ends over like a taco, then wrap them with duct tape for handles. Loop them through a kettlebell or around a pole and get to work!
