Polar Express - Chester Depot, Vermont We had just pulled in and I hadn't noticed the train on the other side of the street, ready to roll. When I got in place to take a picture of the station, it started slowly heading out. Good timing. Gosh, it does have that Polar Express thing going on, doesn't it? The station was built in 1852 according to one site I found.

Lambton Castle, located in County Durham, England, between the City of Sunderland and the town of Chester-le-Street, is a stately home, ancestral seat of the Lambton family, the Earls of Durham. Largely constructed in its present form in the early 19th century by John George Lambton, the first Earl of Durham and one-time Governor General of Canada, it was built around the existing Harraton Hall, a 17th century mansion.
