The Orpheus Henleaze Bristol | This grand Bristol cinema demolished long ago. The site is now a Waitrose Supermarket and a small multiscreen cinema called "The Orpheus" in memory of the old building. The original cinema was opened on February 28th 1938 it seated 1400. and in my opinion was the best cinema in Bristol. This shot shows the cinema not too long before closure when it was showing "adult" movies, the decline had begun….
