Light gray and white kitchen with a classic design features stacked light gray shaker cabinets accented with nickel pulls and fitted with Super White Quartzite countertops holding a farmhouse sink and polished nickel, deck bridge mount, gooseneck faucet under single hung windows separated by small sconces mounted to ivory shiplap walls supporting rustic wood ceiling beams hung over dark stained oak wood floors.
"See these built-ins? (They) hired a local handyman to build them to fit between those two windows and provide a ton of kid-friendly storage. So smart. I especially liked that they chose doors that are flush with the frame (it had a really clean look)." - also like that they're not too deep, they just fit with the room!......House Crashing: Cozy & Full Of Character | Young House Love
This ad for a "Mixing Corner Kitchen" was published in American Home magazine. Red, green, yellow, and crisp white steel cabinetry was a classic color combo. The steel cabinetry was big during the post-War years as companies retooled to meet the needs for kitchen cabinets instead of machine gun turrets. So cheery! The mixing corner is nifty-neato!
