1st grade clay frames with self-portrait. Flatten clay ball using palm of hand, small Dixie cup to trace a circle in the center of their clay. Carve out. Add texture: Marker caps, popsicle sticks, dry pasta, toothpicks, etc. Poke 2 holes for a ribbon. Glaze. Draw self-portrait. Decorate a brown paper bag to carry frames home.
