Ingredients 1/2 cup steel cut oats 2 cups water 1 cup chopped apples (approximately 1 small apple) 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp. allspice Honey to taste Directions Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until fully cooked.

    Heat up the chopped apples on the stove for a few minutes (or in the microwave for less time) and you don't even need the honey.

These are such a treat! Packed with healthy fats and protein, these are perfect for after a workout. These are clean and are gluten free. You could use peanut butter, almond butter or sunflower butter. If you want a healthy go-to snack you and the kids will love, you have to try these.

    I just made it..instead of individual cookies I did a flat peice on the cookie sheet, cut into bars as soon as it came out of the oven. Turned out GREAT!!
