Combine sentence

This great little freebie combines sentence structure and sight word practice for a fun and easy pocket chart center activity. Students simply use the 7 pictures to help them unscramble the 7 mixed-up sentences. Each sentence begins with "This snowman." These are specifically designed for beginning writers and beginning readers. Inside you will find 2 sample picture sentence scramble pages.

Laminate, Velcro, and Go! Anytime Simple Sentence Tasks

This work system task is great for emerging readers. With a combination of preprimer sight words and CVC words, students match sentences to pictures. This is a favorite task in my Special Education classroom.


UPDATED Jan. 4th 2015! This is a half-sheet worksheet that I created to teach students how to expand their sentences by adding who, did what, when, where and why. After they come up with all of those details they combine them to write an interesting, complete sentence. Enjoy, and thanks for downloading!
