Creamy Chicken Pockets: these make a great appetizer! Made them & they were scrumptious! I did not sprinkle breadcrumbs on them, instead I covered the crescent tops w freshly grated Parmesan. It got crispy during baking & was a perfect addition to give another layer of texture & flavor. I also put Parmesan & a dash of cayenne in the filling. I used canned chicken breast since it's so moist & that's what I had on hand...Definite make again recipe!
Creamy Chicken Pockets. YUM. The crescent rolls were hard to wrap around the chicken/ cream cheese mixture, which was a little runny. I'm going to figure out a better system for that. I added a little garlic powder to each one before I wrapped it, and added a little grated parmesan to the bread crumbs on the topping. These were delicious.
Crescent Chicken Squares. Made these last night. Used canned chicken, cream of chicken soup instead of the cream cheese/butter mixture, and added some celery and onion in. Yummy. I made 8 (2 cans of crescent rolls) because they looked small. They expanded more than expected, so 4 is really the perfect amount for 2 people - dinner and then lunch the next day!
