A Crusader tank of the Australian 9th Division Cavalry Regiment. Most Allied armoured formations in North Africa were British, and they were the ones who usually bore the brunt of Rommel’s panzer attacks. 10 July 1942

Crusader tank. The Crusader was a British cruiser tank used in various theatres during world War 2. It used 5 road wheels on each side as opposed 4 used by the Covenanter tank. Over 5,300 were built.
