I understand this isn't how it is for everyone. But they call it an invisible illness for a reason. People who don't know me well have no idea I have cystic fibrosis. It's weird how oblivious people can be to it when it affects my daily life so much. It's not that I'm good at hiding it; it's that I do my best to cope with it - to live my life how I want without letting cystic fibrosis get in my way. That's why I appear "normal" when I'm really not.
