Zaha Hadid | architect, designer & teacher. Received the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004, the first woman to do so, and the Royal Institute of British Architects Stirling Prize in 2010 and 2011. Her buildings are distinctively futuristic, characterized by "multiple perspective points and fragmented geometry to evoke the chaos of modern life". In February 2013 she was named one of the 100 most powerful women in the United Kingdom by Woman's Hour on BBC Radio 4.
