Defining MAKERSPACES: What the research says: After receiving criticism that my space was not a "real makerspace", I decided to draft my own definition and take a look at how research defines makerspaces.
To reiterate, one of the defining differences that the Gods will have is color. Color represents freedom and creativity. This color palette reminds me of the Latin American countries that were the victims of imperialism and slavery. Coloring their long angelic robes similar to these colors will evoke that connection and further enforce the criticism of slavery by directly applying it to an identifiable group of people.
Rod Serling (1924 - 1975), American screenwriter & television producer, best known for his science fiction anthology TV series, The Twilight Zone. He believed it was the writer’s job to “menace the public consciousness” and considered television & radio a means for social criticism.
