South Yuba River State Park in Nevada County, California consists of the 22-mile long South Yuba River Canyon running from near Edwards Crossing to Bridgeport and contains some 2,000 acres. The park is noted for its historical gold mining connections and for the number of 19th century crossing bridges built along the length of the river. The area includes the longest single-span covered bridge in the world.

The Chalk Pyramids and Monument Rocks are names for the same group of rock outcroppings, near US-83 in western Kansas. There are signs at the turn off (6 miles of gravel roads). You can see the rocks in the distance from the highway if you know where to look. Like the Castle Rock Badlands, the Monument Rocks are on private range land, but thanks to the owners, open to the public.
