One of Vicereine and Countess Vorkosigan's favourite dresses. A display of Vorkosigan family personal artefacts can be seen at Vorkosigan District Museum of Art in Hassadar (szerafina77: French Edwardian dress, 1909)
Woman's Evening Dress: Bodice and Skirt Made in New York, United States, North and Central America ca.1907. Designed by Mrs. Dunstan, American, active 1891 - 1913. Ivory silk satin with silk tulle, lace, tulle appliqué, rhinestones, and sequins; floss silk, silk chenille, and metallic thread embroidery. Gift of Mrs. Priscilla de Mauduit, 1967. Philadelphia Museum of Art.
This is an Edwardian Dress. Notice how the corset bends the body, and thanks to the flowing dress, makes a S-curve. Also, fabric was lighter and the skirt did not use bustles or hoops. Stop, just please stop, tagging as Victorian.
