Keeping Up Appearances. Hyacinth, Richard. I don't think that's very amusing, dear. I hope you're not going to spoil things with lower-middle class humor.

Hattie Jacques (1922 –1980), born as Josephine Edwina Jaques, she was an English comedy actress. Starred in the Carry On films and had a 'battle-axe' persona. A beautiful woman inside and out who was loved by so many and did so much for children's charities.

Fawlty Towers. [Pictured, actors Prunella Scales & John Cleese] If you don't laugh @ anything else, try this BBC series. J. Cleese is at his best! He plays an Inn Keeper who basically loathes humanity, especially his unique/quirky staff and, of course, the guests! :) PH
