LB = I/v and I/s (makes it linear). Competitive changes the slope and Km of a reaction, but has same Y intercept.  Noncompetitive inhibition, which cannot be overcome by adding excess substrate, has the same X intercept.  NON makes a V.  Competitive makes an X.
