"Dear young people, the happiness you are seeking, the happiness you have a right to enjoy has a name and a face: it is Jesus of Nazareth, hidden in the Eucharist." - Pope Benedict XVI

(Symbols) The Tabernacle is a very important symbol to this sacrament. It holds the hosts that are taken to the sick and dying. While a light is always burning when present, quiet prayer is a tradition within the Church.

Christ knew that one of the saddest things we have to live with on this earth is our loneliness, our sense of expulsion and exile. He knew that when you really love someone, you want to devour them, to become one with them, and you can’t do that with another human being. So He did it in the Eucharist.
