This magazine/textbook is a very good example of repetition throughout the pages. The thing that is repeated is the yellow diamond and it helps to tie the whole thing together and makes the finished product look very sophisticated.

Paragraph of the Week. Wow! What a jam-packed QUALITY resource! There's so much that I love about it. The instructions for use are very clear and I'll use the example pages to guide me in knowing what the work might look like. The repetition will serve to firmly reinforce what students are to do so that there is no question on the students' part. Also, the rubric is very explicit so students know what is expected. Pardon my gush, but I love this resource!

A great example of maintaining organization through repetition (purple Nepeta) but keeping it interesting by mixing in lots of unique stuff in between.

This is an example of maximum depth of field. The image was taken low enough to obtain all the bicycles as well as making sure they are all in focus, creating as if the bicycles never end.

Shape and Pattern - though these are normal everyday Q-tips, the way they are placed, in the pattern, attracts our attention to the formation and makes the Q-tips more interesting.
