Here are some fine examples of intricately carved beams that feature in various Chinese temples and houses. These images depict Chinese dragons and other mythological images, that were used both as a display of wealth, but also to protect the building from ancient evil spirits. They are usually carved from dense hardwoods such as teak and cherry, stained in a dark colour.
The spacious interior features linoleum wood grain flooring and two loft areas: one large enough for a king bed (7.5’x8’) and the other fits a twin size bed (7.5 x4’). Both lofts have natural beige carpet and there is a stairway to main loft.
