Before the cross, the bible says "forgive so that you will be forgiven"...after the cross it's "forgive AS your Heavenly Father has forgiven you" We are now free to forgive, not as a threat, it's all about Love!

I think it's incredible that God not only forgives our sins, but forgets them too. He throws them into the depths of the sea and tells us not to drag them back up again. "He said he was love and he proved it with blood; such mercy"
