This checklist is a good tool for formative assessment that allows for more confidentiality in your classroom. Rather than a grade given you can use this as a progress chart to see where each student stands after a lesson or whatever it may be. This is a good tool because you can date each one and see the improvement of each student over a period of time, or you could compare their understanding to other subjects across the board, like the one pictured did.
