Grand Duke Dimitri Pavlovich, cousin of the Tsar & co-conspirator in the murder of Rasputin. As a direct result of his involvement in the murder, Dmitri Pavlovich was sent to the Persian front, which ultimately saved his life; most of his relatives were executed by the Bolsheviks, including his father & his morganatic half-brother Vladimir Paley, but he himself escaped with British help.He died in 1941 in Switzerland & is buried in Germany next to his sister Maria.

Grand Duke George Mikhailovich of Russia (1863 – 28 January 1919) was a son of Grand Duke Michael Nicolaievich of Russia and a first cousin of Emperor Alexander III. He was a General in the Russian army in World War I. During the Russian Revolution, he was imprisoned by the Bolsheviks and shot by a firing squad, along with his brother, Grand Duke Nicholas Mikhailovich, and his cousins Grand Dukes Paul Alexandrovich and Dimitri Konstantinovich.


Nicholas Nikolaevich of Russia (1856 - 1929). Son of Nicholas Nicolaevich and Alexandra Petrovna of Oldenburg. He married Anastasia of Montenegro.


Ernest Louis was the last Grand Duke of Hesse and by Rhine. He was the fourth child and eldest son of Grand Duke Louis IV and Princess Alice of the United Kingdom, daughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. He was an older brother to Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna (née Alix of Hesse), Empress consort of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia


Grand Duke Alexander Alexandrovich (7.6.1869/2.5.1870) infant son of Emperor Alexander III. Alexander & Marie's 2nd child, 2nd son +younger brother of future Emperor Nicholas II. He died of meningitis in 1870. He was posthumously photographed to remember him, therefore it is likely this is the only existing photograph of Grand Duke Alexander on his bier.
