China maintains its third place spot behind the United States and Great Britain on the medal table on the eleventh day of the Rio Games after winning five medals: two gold, one silver, and two bronze. Li Xiaoxia, Ding Ning, and Liu Shiwen have defeated Germany to claim the first title in the women's table tennis team event. Diver Cao Yuan grabbed the gold in the men's 3m springboard.
