This is Hamburger Stew. Us po' folks grew up on this stuff. Amazing how good it really is. We do not use rice or celery and instead of water we use chicken broth. Plus as you can see we threw in peas, carrots and green beans! You can loosely follow this recipe and get a great stew like mine.
HAMBURGER STEW Maybe this is a Southern 'Thang' because our Grandma called it "Grandma Soup". All I know is you can start saving all your leftover veggies in a container in the freezer and when you want to make it, throw in all the veggies. You can use RoTel if you like to spice it up a bit. Also good made with beef broth instead of all the water from the veggies. GOOD with sweet cornbread!
