Leroy “Satchel” Paige, American Negro Leagues and MLB pitcher & baseball legend. He was named All-Time Outstanding Player, and was the 1st player from the NL to be elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame. He was among the most famous & successful players from the Negro Leagues. His outstanding control as a pitcher, his infectious, cocky, enthusiastic personality and his love for the game made him a star. Sports Illustrated named him the hardest thrower in the history of baseball. R.I.P.


Annabelle Lee during her time with the Fort Wayne Daisies of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL).  As the photo says, Annabelle was the only player to pitch a perfect game in the 12 year history of the league.
