This is horatian satire because it is a light hearted joke even though it does target a specific and well known public figure. My experience of the subject is only the knowledge of the original statement of "deplorables'' made by the public figure. My reaction was laughing and a quick understanding of the joke because I know the play being referenced. The goals of this satire are to poke fun at a public figure with opposing views to that of the satire's author.
