Hubble reveals NGC 2440 This image of NGC 2440 shows the colourful "last hurrah" of a star like our Sun.

Unity Comes by Uniting around What the Bible Clearly Teaches. Biblical creationists are often accused of causing division in the Church. It is claimed that their insistence on accepting Genesis as narrative history introduces dissension by majoring on a “minor” doctrine. However, as will be shown, quite the opposite is true.

Space. .Mystery of the stars. . Burning lithium inside a star (artist's impression) Artist’s impression of a baby star still surrounded by a protoplanetary disc in which planets are forming. Using ESO’s very successful HARPS spectrograph, a team of astronomers has found that Sun-like stars which host planets have destroyed their lithium much more efficiently than planet-free stars.

The Luminous Hearts of Distant Galaxies --New Orbiting Space Telescope will Penetrate Thresholds of Supermassive Black Holes

"Dark markings of the sky”.. A new image from the APEX (Atacama Pathfinder Experiment) telescope in Chile shows a sinuous filament of cosmic dust more than ten light-years long. In it, newborn stars are hidden, and dense clouds of gas are on the verge of collapsing to form yet more stars. It is one of the regions of star formation closest to us. The cosmic dust grains are so cold that observations at wavelengths of around one millimetre, such as these made with the LABOCA camera on APEX

This new NASA Hubble Space Telescope image of the Antennae galaxies is the sharpest yet of this merging pair of galaxies. During the course of the collision, billions of stars will be formed. The brightest and most compact of these star birth regions are called super star clusters.

Images taken in infrared and visible light by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope recount a vivid story of the turbulent birthing process of massive stars. The pictures show that powerful radiation and high-speed material unleashed by "hefty" adult stars residing in the hub of the 30 Doradus Nebula are triggering a new burst of star birth in the surrounding suburbs.

The accretion disk(circular rotating matter) solar system matter & nova remains/ binary star sucked into the hole.and jet (yet visible matter, subatomic breakdown, radiation) of a supermassive black hole. All spiral galaxies seem to have supermassive black holes at their center. That and dark matter (invisible) produce the galaxy the high speed of rotation. Jet is the still visible radiation from its breakdown of matter under it's gravity.

This cluster of stars is known as Messier and is located some light-years away in the constellation of Pegasus (The Winged Horse). It is one of the oldest globular clusters known, with an age of around 12 billion years. ~ Photograph by NASA/ESA.
