Introducing Jester King Simple Means #craftbeer #beer

A horned Fool with horned hood and devilish marotte, from the “Cosmographie Universelle” of Munster: folio (Basle, 1552). Image date: ca. 1874.

Engraving of Will Sommers by Francis Delaram c. 1615–24. Sommers was the best-know court jester of Henry VIII. He remained in the king's service for the rest of Henry's life. The jester was also a man of integrity and discretion. Thomas Cromwell appreciated that he sometimes drew the King's attention to extravagance and waste within the royal household by means of a joke.

I hope one day to find a guy who would bring me a rose. Just little simple jesters mean so much, because it means they we're thinking about you.
