John Collins Rowing

John Collins (b), Jonathan Walton (s), Great Britain, Men's Double Sculls, 2015 World Rowing Championships, Aiguebelette, France

This is about the Friar's description. I compared it to the Prologue and it seems like Chaucer mentioned everything about the Friar in detail. (This is the answer to number 5 about the Friar)

Memorare Prayer Card

The Memorare is my absolute favorite prayer. I vividly remember being taught to pray it-and memorize it, along with numerous other prayers-in the 7th grade at St. Clare School in Clifton, NJ, by Miss Joan Collins. I fell in love with the words and meaning and have always recited it during my own times of reflection and prayer. It's so comforting.

15 People Who Need to Put the Makeup Brush Down

Haha so true! Hunger games humor - funny. Which is why you end up staying up all night to read it. (Also why you stay up for two nights in a row when you finish Catching Fire and HAVE to go on to Mockingjay immediately)

Great detailed 1919 team picture. When you zoom in, note two players in top row, second, third from left. Pitchers Sullivan and Wilkinson. Also, front row, third from right, pitcher Mayer, all wearing 1918 uniforms. Sullivan's has the distinctive little socks on logo. Mayer's and Wilkinson's have unique collar stripe, check other 1918 photos, such as pitcher Shellenback. In the 1919 photo, notice how tan Joe Jackson and John Collins are. No sunscreen in this era.
