John Wayne did well in any war movie he was in over the decades! This was Viet Nam "up close" and gory at times, and pretty accurate. Not pleasant, but well done.

Duke. My least favorite movie because even tho I LOVE Bruce Dern, I HATE his character. I HATE all bullies. He rocked it tho, I'll give him that. On the set, before the scene Duke and Dern were sitting together and Duke leaned in to Dern and said, "Oooo, they're gona Hate you for this." And he's right.

I've never even seen this movie. I don't have any particular desire to see a John Wayne movie...but my dad always remarked how much he liked it, so I really should...
