Johnny Unitas (1933 - 2002) After college Unitas went on to become a professional quaterback, spending most of his playing years with the Baltimore Colts. He set many records and was voted the NFL's MVP in 1959, 1964, and 1967. His record of throwing a touchdown pass in 47 consecutive games (1956 - 1960) remains untouched today
