Main Gate to the Army Air Base Kearns Utah, later known as Camp Kearns Utah. A temporary base constructed in 1942, the first of its kind to open and the last to close, in 1946. A community was established over what was left over from the military years, and the first residents moved into their new home in 1949. The history has remain lost until 2010. My parents moved here in 1953.
