Clear Onion Soup (like Japanese steakhouse). I used this recipe except it needed something: some beef boullion. I used a 1/2 cube to 1c water. Also I think I will use sauteed mushrooms next time. I did cook them in the broth for a while which made em better, but sauteed will be best. Topped with Frech's fried onions instead. Very good!

potato pave / thomas keller. Seriously has to be the best thing I have ever eaten and there was Kobe beef on the plate. I had the pleasure of eating this at the French Laundry at a friends wedding.
