Following God's will always means going against social conventions and people's expectations at times. It also means leaving behind people-pleasing habits that serve to enslave and maintain an easy, supposedly peaceful status quo. But following God's will always means freedom.
Do you ever want to run away and start over? Wipe the slate clean. Begin all over again with blank canvas? It's okay, we all feel that way sometimes. It doesn't mean you don't love your life or the people in it. It doesn't mean that you wouldn't give your last breath to see them happy. "Judge not by appearances" is a lesson that reoccur quite frequently to show me that I do not have the whole picture of a situation or circumstance. Life leaves clues for us to go on a journey to figure out but some aspects are a mystery. This makes our journey interesting creates depth and gives us true meaning. As I said I'm learning to leave a little room to be awed whilst navigating the vagaries of this here 1 life. Cheers to a no-judgement Friday!!! L
