Steve began working at the Seattle Lighthouse for the Blind after attending the University of Wisconsin. Yet his desire to be near family brought him back to Wisconsin. He applied for a job at Industries for the Blind ten years ago, and initially was hired in the customer service area. As an inside sales associate, he understands that the sales he makes generate jobs for others who are blind. “I know every transaction I make keeps someone employed,” he says. “That’s what keeps me going.”
