Linen stitch tutorial - but it's really simple: Row 1: *k1, slip 1 w/yarn in front* repeat Row 2: *p1, slip 1w/yarn in back* repeat These 2 rows create the pattern, I love it especially with variegated yarns. mz
Ravelry: It's the Cerus scarf (free pattern) which uses linen stitch, but this one has a difference. The knitter used three balls of yarn. Two of one color and one of a different color. I like the dots.
Linen Stitch: Works on an even number of stitches. Row 1: *Knit 1, slip 1 with yarn in front. Repeat from * across, ending with a knit 1. Row 2: *Purl 1, slip 1 with yarn in back. Repeat from * across, ending with a purl 1. Repeat these two rows for pattern. When slipping stitches, always slip as if to purl.
