From Her Majesty's Jewel Vault: Empress Marie Feodorovna's Sapphire Brooch-owned by the British Royal Family; it was given to Empress Maria Feodorovna (Princess Dagmar of Denmark) by her sister, Princess Alexandra and her husband Prince Edward (later Queen and King); after the revolution, Maria's jewels were sold. The brooch was bought by Queen Mary and bequeathed to Queen Elizabeth.
The diamond necklace that belonged to Dowager Maria Feodorovna. The total value of necklace is more then 470 karats. The diamonds were brought from India in the 17th century. Today's owner of the necklace is unknown.
