Famous US Federal law agent/FBI agent Melvin Purvis was born today 10-24 in 1903. He's noted for leading many of the manhunts for 30s outlaws like Baby Face Nelson and Pretty Boy Floyd as well as John Dillinger. He passed in 1960.
