STIGMA erodes confidence that mental illnesses are real, treatable health conditions. We have allowed stigma to erect barriers around effective treatment and recovery. It is time to take those barriers down!
Borderline Personality Disorder These are all to true. Definitely the self assurance, if I won the lotto I would def get plastic surgery. Pay to have tutors to learn things so I wouldn't be so ignorant. This isn't a cry for help, it's allowing my emotion to not be bottled up.
Curious. How much of this is our definition of insanity, our perception, rather than actual illness? Couldn't our tendency to be dependent on cultural norms be considered a mental illness, an inability to think for ourselves?
