Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) - a communications network made up of radio nodes organized in a mesh topology. Clients can be laptops, cell phones, and other devices. Mesh routers forward traffic to/from gateways that may or may not connect to the Internet. This is a good way to communicate with others when the Internet goes down or in any communications emergency situation.
