Michigan State softball's Jessica LeFevre has been named to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-America District IV First Team, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). LeFevre is the 20th honoree in MSU history, and the 13th to earn a place on the first team. All of Michigan State's Academic All-District IV awards have been earned under current head coach Jacquie Joseph's leadership.
Michigan State softball earned two wins in its second day at the Florida Atlantic Classic and improved its record to 11-7 on the season. MSU edged Harvard, 1-0, and defeated Florida Atlantic, 7-2, on Sunday afternoon.
