AMERICAN AIRCRAFT RAF SERVICE 1939-1945 CURTIS HAWK 87A KITTYHAWK (ATP 10932C) Kittyhawk Mark IIA, FL220, on the ground at Hamble, Hampshire after erection by Air Service Training Ltd. This aircraft, unusually for the type, remained in Great Britain throughout its service life, flying with Aeroplane and Armament Experimental Establishment, the Handling Squadron and Empire Central Flying School, and was finally returned to Air Service Training Ltd.


AMERICAN AIRCRAFT RAF SERVICE 1939-1945 LOCKHEED L-214 L-414 HUDSON (ATP 10926B) Hudson Mark IV, AE628, on the ground at Eastleigh, Hampshire, following erection by Cunliffe Owen Aircraft Ltd. This aircraft served with Nos. 206 and 200 Squadrons RAF, and later with the Air Transport Auxiliary.
