Peel microcars were built in Peel, Isle of Man in the 1960's by Peel Engineering. Two main models were produced in limited numbers: the two passenger Trident and one passenger P50. At just 54 inches in length, the P50 remains the world’s smallest production car.
Peel Engineering typically more than 95% of a car's energy is used just to move itself, The Carless Class is defined by eliminating this old fashioned "car equation." Vehicles in The Carless Class still have a full fairing but often just 3 wheels, some have pedal and most have electric assist.
