>>Mini Cooper<< Years: 2002-2008. Pros: Aesthetics, somewhat practical, decent reliability, fun to drive, safe, good gas mileage. Cons: Expensive to insure, high repair costs, small. Pricing: $6,000-11,000. MPG: 28
I <3 Minis! And the new Countryman has 4 doors and a bench seat option for the back (with fold-flat cargo). Add to that the impressive fuel economy (35/27/30), and I'd love to have one. Too bad they don't have good warranties or reliability ratings though, because that kind of negates the rest :(

The Best Cars You Can Buy, with an emphasis on the word "best." Overall -- reliability, value, head-turning status -- these are the vehicles we think are the best, period. All things being equal, however, the Mini Cooper is the far superior subcompact car. It's better to drive, better made and better to behold. The Mini is a car that is desired regardless of its size, and in some cases because of it. Never mind exceeding expectations: The Cooper proves that driving a small car can be cool.
