Mother Teresa's Room ©2010 Mother Teresa lived and died in this room in Kolkata India. She started, and ran the Missionaries of Charity, which includes the Hospital for the destitute and dying. Those that are treated here, or spend their last days here, can not afford medical care and have no family to take care of them. She died in 1997. She met Pope John Paul II in 1986. The photo above her bed is of that meeting.
