Woodworker's Journal - Ultimate Miter Saw Stand Plan - I have seen several different versions of Miter Saw stands and this is one of the better ones. I have a small garage for a woodworking shop and everything is mobile. This fits in very nicely for me, not difficult to build. I like the fence for measuring where the stops go and all of the compartments for storage so where you go all of the equipment for the saw goes with you. Good job. Highly recommend this stand.
Kreg Tool Tip: Cut Your Pieces Square | For joints to fit together right, you need to make sure that those cuts are truly square. Whether you’re using a miter saw, table saw, or circular saw, start by making sure that the blade is cutting square through the thickness of the piece. If this angle is off, you’ll end up with a joint that’s not flat, or with a gap in one face of your joint. To eliminate those problems, make sure the blade is adjusted so it sits exactly 90° to the base or table.
