March 15 is Asian American Equal Pay Day. Basically, the average Asian American woman earns 88 cents on the dollar — meaning she works an extra two and a-half months to earn what a white male brings home in a year. Which may not sound all that bad, considering the overall, the average American woman will have to work for yet another month to earn the same amount. Even when it comes to the wage gap, we are the Model Minority!
